Our Story

A BRIEF HISTORY OF SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL COALITION, INC.

Solidarity With Israel Coalition started as a group of interfaith citizens from Naples, who became outraged after learning that the terrorist group Hamas had just attacked innocent Israelis at a music concert, kidnapping 251 people and brutalizing children, mothers, and grandmothers. To show their support for the Israeli people, a series of four rallies was held with the theme“Bring the Hostages Home.” During these rallies, the group decided it needed to become more formal and called itself Solidarity With Israel Coalition, later abbreviated as SWIC.

The rally goers and supporters were referred to as Coalitioners.

Individuals wanted to know if SWIC was a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and how they could donate to help the cause. The answer was always the same : “We’ re working on it.” After much discussion, in February 2025 , another group within SWIC came together to have the Solidarity With Israel Coalition formally recognized as a non-

profit by the State of Florida and the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization . The SWIC Logo was registered in Florida.

Becoming a 501(c)(3) organization represents our unwavering commitment to fostering unity, compassion, and support for Israel and the vibrant Jewish community. SWIC is profoundly grateful to our supporters, partners, and volunteers whose passion and dedication have guided us to this pivotal moment.

We will continue our efforts to educate all about the truth of Israel’s self-defense and global antisemitism, both of which are routinely falsely characterized by legacy media and governments around the world

Our vision is rooted in unity—a world where Jewish communities thrive, where Israel flourishes as a source of inspiration, and acts of kindness echo across generations. With your generous support, we are one step closer to making this vision a reality. We welcome the support and participation of anyone who shares our goals and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Our Mission

Solidarity with Israel Coalition (SWIC) stands with Israel and the Jewish Community by building relationships through education, communication and awareness.
